The people in Kyndryl are very warm and friendly. The company recognizes that it is a people's choice and employee suggestions are consulted. Appreciate the way they're giving importance to us.

Dislikes

I have not got any promotion in the last 7 years. Also there are not many projects. I am struggling to find myself a different project.

Constant change, which is very common issue with all IT companies, the tech world evolves quickly, & it can be challenging to keep up with the new technology.

Salary adjustment for long standing employees is average and could be improved, so skilled & experienced resources are retained and do not switch to another company just for better pay !

I like the way its transforming, despite IBM legacy, its working toward creating its Branding, standardizing and reconsolidation systems & processes. The investors report reflects +ve signs too and its strategy to accelerate growth. Keeping the social causes in its radar is a reflection of making a difference to the Human race and the planet. Being a people manager of Japanese language speaking squad, I think if we can have some revision in banding / appraisal method in ways employee feels recognized for their hard work. Not all resources have technical aptitude (Japanese language experts) yet they are upskilling technically preforming level best too! Redeployment process is not at all fair with the bench people . I feel know people are getting redeployed . During redeployment interview , recoding should be there and that recording should be audited . In my case .I have give 3 interview and interview was excellent , but I did not get selected, there was no reason .

Good work life balance, no pressure for wfo, and multiple learning growth if you go under a good lead and manager

From 2024 the company is seeing some layoffs, sudden closing of operations in certain countries, very low or no hikes appraisals, very much uncertainty about the job security

Its transparency in employee policies. Its zeal to drive the learning culture and provide the existing employees to upskill and move to their choice of domain is commendable.

Though the internal movement opportunities are present, we find it difficult to get in as they expect experience and with the new upskilling the individual lags in it.

i really liked the work culture and skill development in the kyndryl.

promotion as per other company policy after 3 years we automatically get promoted to next level , and here we only get promoted if any of the employee with the next level resigned then we replace them or we need to shift to other different project for promotion which is worst part. I hope management look into this policy .

Equal opportunities and fair treatment to all diverse communities.

Dislikes

The companies culture is infiltrated with people who were there in the parent organisation for about 25-35 years which has declined the quality of the work. They build things for their growth and are least bothered about the company's progress. These people in the top management and responsible for the lack of growth of other invididuals.

Employee centric Good for female employees as well Learning opportunities Management at least listens to your issues. The communication is always two ways here. Good Health policy and term policy. Allowances. If you work hard, that is acknowledged.

Echo System based infinite and open learning. Little good momentum and corrections on autocratic management (but it still continue to exist)

Low Singing and project Less ability or fesability to learn as you go. Static environment with no much dynamic ability to learn and apply skills
