Varied exposure. Due to lack of budget management will get most of the high end task done by you thereby increasing the exposure.
Poor management - the top level management i worked with was not skilled and GA was managed by PTP and OTC leaders Bad pay - increments and perks are really bad Office politics - no value for work if you are good at dancing or singing or anchoring management might favour you. If you are good at work they will drill you. Management company - there is no HR so the rule of manager is final. I witnessed few harassment casses wherein a female employee was abused by manager and on her complaint there was no action. No promotions - there is no 18 or 24 month criteria. Even if you are top rater they at first will make false promises of promotion and later will reject your promotion. Self centered management - the management is so self centered they even jeopardize the careers of innocent. I witnessed few cases where people were asked to resign or else threatened to be given PIP. No formal documentation of roles and responsibilities also even sometimes they mislead org chart or hierarchy. Delayed FNF - management is unaware about FNF policy or relieving formalities which result in delay of FNF. My FNF is pending for more than 2 months and after several escalations i get no resolution. Micro management and pathetic work life balance with no wfh policy. I had to fight with management to allow my team to take 1 wfh a week....Read More

No doubt working with prestigious organisation like IBM is a eye catcher. Company will force you to learn anytime. So you will learn a lot through, learning assignment , free premium udemy, wfh facility.
Only Salary. What you get at the time of joining , will be fixed. No increment in any manner. There is no standard to that. So make sure ,you ask higher. They will deny on this but it is true. It is not Limited to me having 3 yrs in IBM but others who has 7 years too has the same issue.

Honestly I did not like anything in IBM. And remember IBM is a sinking ship now. It has lost all its previous glory.
Very toxic manager and team lead. Managers continiously demotivates you. They give negative feedback. And there is no job security nowadays. I was laid off few months after joining. Please avoid IBM i , IBM Z and IBM power system team. These teams are really bad. Apart from that , office is horrible. You will not get even tea or coffee for free. They have very less office space and they have called so many people to office. IBM ISDL gives good package but do not go with that. You need peaceful sleep, which you will not get here....Read More

IBM being an international company has good policies . And the brand value gives you so much respect in the society.
There are very toxic projects in IBM and once you are into it, your impression about entire company goes bad !! Also the medical insurance is not good, you will end up paying a huge premium for even 1lk coverage for your parents. IBM is very good company and will have work life balance ( and its also depands on project). Appraisals are also good (which is depends on your peoples manager). But my suggestion is go with good package yo ibm.
If u are having higher band it will be difficult to get projects. If u are not in project no job security.
