Only work culture is good but that will put you in their comfort zone and you will never progress professionally.

People manager and HR are totally waste and they are never interested in your career path. You need to fight with everyone in IBM for your band progression. HR puts gun on People Manager and fires the employee. Your band progression in IBM is your worry and not your manager's worry.

There won't be any promotion and hike and if an employee work with 200 %dedication ,their won't be any hike at all.I mean how employee will be motivated for the next year and finally they will leave the company.If you need any HR support or IT support,there is no helpdesk number.You have to depend on chat bot which are worst.They neva give proper reply which you really want from them.

As long as you are in any project, you are treated well

If you are in bench, you are on your own. You have to find your own project. No support from management. Finally, golden handshake will happen, if you can't secure any project.

There is no HR in IBM and employees don't even know who is their HR. It's manager driven company and we don't get much hikes and promotion process is very slow.

Doing Huge Promises that we will give you the task and team as per your Tech/Experience. But no use. ITSR is Jail , and they don't tell at initial Stage while Joining. My project in IBM has worst work life balance. Managers and all senior level people are toxic. Don't belive anyone in corporate world I learned this thing from IBM.

Certification program. Their process is simple and they provide free vouchers to do various certification.

Toxic Managers and Delivery Managers. They never speak politely even during normal calls. No empowerment given to senior employees do so work on their own. No job security. If you are in bench and no project for a month even when you join immediately they ask you to forcefully resign. Mangers think they only knows everything. Delievery managers talk very rudely and literally harrass everyone. I never seen any motivation or appreciation from them in these two years. But the client I work have shared many appreciation and feedback to managers but they never reveal it. Sometimes I feel these mangers talk as they have drunken alcohol. No onsite to anyone.
