A hybrid work model. No need to come to the office. We can complete as many certifications as we want. No restrictions on the hours I can stay at the office. We can punch and go back home.

Favoritism is based on location. If you work with Kolkata people, they will just make use of you. They will exclusively focus on negative thoughts with you at the end of the year. Technical skills should be the basis of the rating score, not employee based location. From past few years, They are blindly maintaining only attendance, without thinking its impact. Anyone is coming on any day. There is no team bonding as no one following the same day or atleast they should have 5 days compulsory in every month for one team, which will make them to know who all are there in the team. Initially I was placed in banglore but it seems northees will never fit there.. people use to talk in their native language. Upon asking what was being discussed nothing was answered. Shifted to gurgaon via internal movement.. here the manager's behaviour is like a pampered kid. If he doesn't get what is required he will start misbehaving with the team. Overall a pathetic experience

Their work life balance is really good but their core work is not up to mark . So I will suggest look for different companies if you want to grow your learnings and career . The options for learning different tech through courses are available but the core work is not up to mark so you are hoping to learn through work is not available

Dislikes

Salary hike and promotions are big concerns here. Managers always brings your PMR ratio and will say that you are not eligible for hike. There is no HR interaction and everything should through PM. If your PMR is greater than 1, you'll never get a hike in your lifetime. So join the company with high package and never expect any hikes further.

I had a really good time working in IBM. I was lucky enough to get a chance to change my skillset and jump into Generative AI which is the on-going most wanted skillset and worked on really good projects. The mentors and senior management is really good to help you discover new opportunities.

Internal movement between teams is almost always a fight. Often people are made to work in mixed bag of tasks/technologies, that might make one a jack of all trades and makes specialisation in one/some skillset go away.

Company is filled with people born and brought at the same organization, with zero respect for anyone else. Most of them are like self proclaimed heroes and have a bad attitude. Pro tip. Most of the people can be categorized under the header "topper's syndrome", if you google the symptoms of the disease
