Varied exposure. Due to lack of budget management will get most of the high end task done by you thereby increasing the exposure.
Poor management - the top level management i worked with was not skilled and GA was managed by PTP and OTC leaders Bad pay - increments and perks are really bad Office politics - no value for work if you are good at dancing or singing or anchoring management might favour you. If you are good at work they will drill you. Management company - there is no HR so the rule of manager is final. I witnessed few harassment casses wherein a female employee was abused by manager and on her complaint there was no action. No promotions - there is no 18 or 24 month criteria. Even if you are top rater they at first will make false promises of promotion and later will reject your promotion. Self centered management - the management is so self centered they even jeopardize the careers of innocent. I witnessed few cases where people were asked to resign or else threatened to be given PIP. No formal documentation of roles and responsibilities also even sometimes they mislead org chart or hierarchy. Delayed FNF - management is unaware about FNF policy or relieving formalities which result in delay of FNF. My FNF is pending for more than 2 months and after several escalations i get no resolution. Micro management and pathetic work life balance with no wfh policy. I had to fight with management to allow my team to take 1 wfh a week....Read More

Certification program. Their process is simple and they provide free vouchers to do various certification.
Toxic Managers and Delivery Managers. They never speak politely even during normal calls. No empowerment given to senior employees do so work on their own. No job security. If you are in bench and no project for a month even when you join immediately they ask you to forcefully resign. Mangers think they only knows everything. Delievery managers talk very rudely and literally harrass everyone. I never seen any motivation or appreciation from them in these two years. But the client I work have shared many appreciation and feedback to managers but they never reveal it. Sometimes I feel these mangers talk as they have drunken alcohol. No onsite to anyone. 1. One and only thing is there is no project assignment system or workforce management system to assign projects based on your skills. Exception: if we have good skills and if we know how to look next assignment, there could be possibility to avoid above concern. Otherwise IBM always good choice.

I all comes down to what project you are working on. If you are a part of ISDL, yes the pay is good compared to to GBS but the skills which you develop or use in ISDL are very platform specific and little use if outside of IBM.

Everything. No guidance. No one will assist for if you have any doubts. Please don't join if you are not assigned bto the project. These people simply schedule client interviews. When you fail to answer one or two questions, they give negative feedback. They use these negative feedback to terminate you. Please be sure that you are assigned to the project before you join IBM
