Varied exposure. Due to lack of budget management will get most of the high end task done by you thereby increasing the exposure.

Poor management - the top level management i worked with was not skilled and GA was managed by PTP and OTC leaders Bad pay - increments and perks are really bad Office politics - no value for work if you are good at dancing or singing or anchoring management might favour you. If you are good at work they will drill you. Management company - there is no HR so the rule of manager is final. I witnessed few harassment casses wherein a female employee was abused by manager and on her complaint there was no action. No promotions - there is no 18 or 24 month criteria. Even if you are top rater they at first will make false promises of promotion and later will reject your promotion. Self centered management - the management is so self centered they even jeopardize the careers of innocent. I witnessed few cases where people were asked to resign or else threatened to be given PIP. No formal documentation of roles and responsibilities also even sometimes they mislead org chart or hierarchy. Delayed FNF - management is unaware about FNF policy or relieving formalities which result in delay of FNF. My FNF is pending for more than 2 months and after several escalations i get no resolution. Promotion process is not good. If you are on higher package in your band limit then don't think about the promotion for 3-4 years.

1. No monitoring on people instead allowing them to complete their work peacefully (but, few cases depending on project) 2. Location flexibility - if project location is flexible, you can work from any IBNM's location. 3. 1. One and only thing is there is no project assignment system or workforce management system to assign projects based on your skills. Exception: if we have good skills and if we know how to look next assignment, there could be possibility to avoid above concern. Otherwise IBM always good choice.

I all comes down to what project you are working on. If you are a part of ISDL, yes the pay is good compared to to GBS but the skills which you develop or use in ISDL are very platform specific and little use if outside of IBM.

Before you join IBM please make sure you are assigned to the right project. if not assigned to the project they will lay off

Everything. No guidance. No one will assist for if you have any doubts. Please don't join if you are not assigned bto the project. These people simply schedule client interviews. When you fail to answer one or two questions, they give negative feedback. They use these negative feedback to terminate you. Please be sure that you are assigned to the project before you join IBM

Micro management from IBM senior manager for sbi client at belapur, no IT culture by IBM management. False commitment to client without prior technical feasibility and hence pressure on ground level resources. Mandatory weekend working, if you refuse they will threaten you.
