Job is secure. Rest nothing.
No market correction in salary, if you keep loyal to the company for years and years. They eventually force you to quit. They would hire a junior on a higher package than you. Variable pay and Appraisal is scam here. They gave Apr'21-Mar'22 appraisal on Oct'22, and that's kind of habit for them to delay it 1 or 2 quarter. Variable pay wold is 10% of your salary, and any time you quit, you would end up loosing more than half of your variable. Variable paid on yearly basis and will be 10% of your salary. So, anytime you quit company you would end up loosing more than half of your variable. They usually pay variable in June, and notice period is 3 months. They call variable pay component as bonus, which is almost 15 to 20 % of total CTC. Appraisal cycle is Apr to Mar, but variable pay is paid annually once in May or June salary. This year they have deducted 5% variable in 2nd rating. Means, only those who got top rating got 100% variable component. Also revised CTC letter given in May or June month (6% hike is maximum in top rating). So, whenever resouce resign (with 3 months notice period), he/she will loose that year variable component. Example : Resigning in June end after getting variable pay of last year. So, by the time resource will leave (Sep end), 6 month Variable pay (10 % of CTC) is gone. Resources with 14 year of experience are paid 21Lakh per annum and they are ready to hire 7-8 year resources of higher package like 24 lakh. To summarize, after 1 or 2 year, HCL indirectly ask to leave, by paying you way lower than market standard and there is no market correction. Salary is on time but other incentives, your promotion, your bonus, your increments etc are in Arrears, You will get it for sure but always in arrears, HR is not at all effective. Just like your Job which is stable, your salary will be stable as well, please do not expect any other thing except Stability. Company culture in terms ofHR is not at all good, no major governance towards how management is calibrating an employee, how promotions are happening? That is the only reason I left HCLTech, otherwise, in other domains, might be the HR as people doing good things. HCLTech is a beautiful organization but some wrong people who are in that position to spoil the overall experience and culture, My advice is to hire good mature people in leadership positions and especially in HR domain. Company policy implementation is really bad. They suddenly imposed the new policy. If you raise any concern they will not bother you. And the most painful part is EPB or engagement performance bonus. You just need to forget about it. They will not pay you the whole amount. Only 10 to 20 % of it will can expect.

1. Less number of team members leading to high work pressure during peak hours. 2. Unable to get expected leaves due to less number of team members. 3. In my experience nothing I like in HCL
actually I wasted one year of time here because I gave face to face interview for 3 rounds after selecting to HCL their was a internal project discussion which means internal interview that guy was very rude and finally he told like I don't know any thing waste candidate for position ....my question is like if I am not capable for that position why HCL is selected me ?
