Worst management people, no job security. You will learn nothing. Everyone will do politics l, even junior engineers will do politics. No appreciations. They will raise PIP and throw you, they don't bother your life. Heartless manager I got l.
I am in worst project. Manager will not communicate anything with you. He is good only to raise PIP. If anyone got selected to MPC project in HCL please do go. Better companies are there. Don't spoil your life. No fun activities. No respect. It's not a company l. Simply jail.

The plus with HCL is like if you are lucky and get a good client/project you can have a good work life balance.
Their are multiple cons in the company - 1. They will deduct money from your salary unnecessarily in the name of variable which they say is rating based. I personally never got less than 9/10 in quarterly ratings but still they used to deduct around 60% from EPB. 2. Zero hikes / No promotions. In my almost 2 year career no hikes happened. 3. Nothing as such.. Just they provide peanuts salary on time and have lucrative infrastructure.
Bare minimum salary hikes. No promotion. Office politics too much. No job security, once you are in bench or rollout from project, your job will be in danger. Work life balance is pathetic... If you are working in support project they can call you anytime despite your shift gets over.

It depends on project and client you are having. If your client is good your life is good else vice versa. HCLTECH has good infra and flexibility in working hours.
1st thing is increment, they follow minimum increment rule. Retention policy of HCL is worst, it's sort of trap. HRs and backend team not accessible and they are good for nothing. Policy are not employee centric. Variables are not paid in full and increment gets delayed by 6-10 months which is total waste

There's no work life balance, no proper hike, no promotions. Even if you get promotion you won't get much increment in salary, There is no shift allowance even for night shifts.

A complete mess. The sort of experience I had along with some of my colleagues who joined on the same date was appalling. What I found out that the communication from HCLtech's end is disastrous on so many levels. Now I am not sure if it's the project which we were going to get tagged or not, but the experience was not good. Have you ever heard of an employee going to bench after joining a new company. No communication whatsoever was provided what was the reason behind it, then after 2 weeks, we were invited to train and get tagged to a new project for a different role, we were trained for 1 month on and off and after that again no communication about what is happening. After 2 months of training and anxiously waiting for the outcome, they inform I am not getting tagged because the client needs my passport and I don't have one. Never did HCLTECH ever say that Passport was mandatory. Post that I had to apply for a passport to avoid another scenario as such. Appalling experience....Read More
