Career Growth depends on how close you are with your manager and your manager's manager! Depending on the project you are in, work life balance will be impacted. There will be constant pressure to do more work with less resources. The loudest voice is always right :( If you're covering your parents through mediclaim policies, an amount will be deducted from your salary for contributing to the above. Working with Support staff like IT, EHS, HR, etc., will test you patience. It will be like working with Govt. staff - no ownership, bad response times and what can you do without me attitude. You will be forced to come to office or you will be asked to apply for leave (even if you're working from home) - this happens in certain accounts. Management is Autocratic - my way or the highway.
