Bad Culture....Top level enjoying like government No Job security - 4 weeks in bench ,then slient layoff Montly variable pay - Engagement performance bonus ,though u got above 8 rating most of the times deduction above 50% Annual variable pay- for sure they won't give Instead of giving 1000 crores as charity ,better hcl need to consider their hard work employees pain ....2023 paper released on 2025 January...that too for 2% and no change for most of the employees ....which shows where hcl is going.... There is not timing login and logout time restrictions when you go physically to work. But they have a tool to make sure you worked 8 hours a day. Which is good.

Dislikes

The managers don't know how to control their mouth. They talk like how a government employee will misbehave. And HRs are puppets of the managers and DU heads. Very poor env to work. Give you 150% they will treat like you did only 50% and influence your performance bonus badly. Managers take it personally if you talk against their mistake on their face.

Nothing to highlight joined with big dream , the worst part is their work culture and it’s quiet disappointing how it’s brand is ruined because of some manner less people

All of their policy and work culture , as if we are working under some landlords , power should be used wisely

Learning is really good, they even push you to do certifications. Work life balance for me is good and the projects are all good enough to learn something new.

Dislikes

Appraisal meetings are just an eyewash in HCL not sure about other projects but for me never had a discussion, everything decided based on customer feedback. Sad part is nobody knows employee story. They won't even give you full performance pay. Last year my pf bonus was cut domn due to more members in the team, I was so pissed but could not able to do anything.

If you are in bench then it is hard to find a project. For small details we have to raise ticket and follow up with them. Hard to find the reason for Appraisal and Performance bonus deduction

1. Don’t expect more pay in HCL and also if you are someone who expects for early hike then this is not the right place for you. 2. You will be take it for granted always from the management. 3. Job security is also average.
