I join GSCC in Nov 2010 ther was nothing except crane division. We 13 staff and 13 workers star gscc infrastructure work. We 13 persons team work very nicely to take ISO OHSAS certification and got internal audit trainings. We most of the team arrived in GSCC from NCC. All Engineers, planning Engineer, safety officer, Supervisor andour boss Vice President Mr. R P singh came from NCC. He was from UB construction an Indian femous construction company. Mr. Singh having a very nice experience to get projects and he did the same. We got first two jobs 60 + 60 millions Saudi Reyal with Samsung Company. And this work Samsung took from Bectal and Flour. We GSCC first time became sub contractor and did a good job and our client was very much satisfied. After it GSCC didnot see back every thing was increasing manpower, Equipments buses and cars tool, Fabrication work shop GSCC Own Accommodation camp and catering and so many things. Manpower reached feom 13 members to 600 plus and local people uncounted. GSCC group became femous in Jubail & Dammam Industeial Area. Company was running like a company. But till now no service benifits and other staff welfare was not in system there was every thing in the ISO and OHASAS and in company procedure. But onthe paper not in practice.we got training of internal auditor.Every years Appraisals were reporting two time in a year 6+ 6 months. Food, accommodation and transportation provided by company as it was in service agreement. One month vacation after one year. No thing new this all things every construction company is providing. Because of too much work pressure in construction you can't think about your social life. Social life was zero. Every where having some problems but it depents on man to man thinking. It was ok till the end of the 2015 but a man Mr. Faoud arrived in Crane Division being a devision head. He know Aribic very good and he changed mind of the Company Owner. Owner start to come behind Mr. Singh and in the end he came india and company start collapse. Every nice people arrived from the company. Owner tried to bring new vice president one From USA one from South Africa one from UK but no buddy was able to bring bussiness. All came took nice pkge and run away no profit only expenses. All liquid money has bee drained by owner and on non productive assets what Owner bring. There was no one who can control Mr. Owner he became man army in the company and took very worse decisions against the company. There was Mr R P singh who can control him. What we can do nothing? <mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;"> We were site management and low level management can't say or advise any thing to higher Management</mark>. 2016 salary started delaying. Firt time one month delay then 2 month then 3 months and slow slow it reached 6 months. Money was comming regularly from sites but owner taking and using in his personal expenses. He did not care about his workers. I was on the project Durrah total velue was 48 Saudi Reyals and we already took invoice from the client of 58 million. After it salary was 3 4 months delay. Workers and staff alway asking to me when company will pay salary in the tool box meeting. This was every month's problem. One day I call to owner for my 6 months salary dues and my staff and workers dues. He souted very badly and threatened me to send jail. With in 2 days I got termination latter and I came back India after waiting 52 days for my salary and benefits. I took tiket and came back without any salary and benefits on 6 Dec.2019. We can't do any thing there in Saudi Arabia. There labor law is very good but this not againt saudi local people. We are out siders and don't want to go in any litigation. As a site manager, had full liberty to take decisions about project and management was supporting it. Team was young and could get chance to built a team. Teammates were believing in hard working and following instruction in the interest of project. Work environment was good but working hours were long. GSCC was small company that time so was very difficult to expect about work life balance etc from management. But always in small company one get better opportunities to grow rich in terms of experience.no comments...Read More

Myself and team gave the best to management but management couldn't realize it. But management was aware about what special work I did for the organization so they just allow me to go out without any hazzle but without my due monitory benefits which were promised but not fulfilled.

Work Details

It was challenging & hectic with lot if tensions. To keep team moral high and inspire them for smart work was challenge because team members were freshers. Everyone's work sharing and training to them handling client and hired manpower was big challeng.
