The culture in my team (Business Consulting) is good. It’s a hybrid working model and increment and promotion system is good. Work pressure is usually manageable but highly depends on clients too. Overall a good experience!

Dislikes

In case of difficult clients the work culture gets excessively complex and toxic. Learning curve is very limited. There is monotony of work.

Almost Nothing to like, no work-life balance, client -client and always client is the priority, multiple clients with multiple projects have been burdened on single person and even if you work your best, they will count on the project where your performance lagged.

I was in the Hitrust team and was reporting to now manager then senior consultant and senior manager, was pathetic in the behaviour, use to talk always in a bad way and senior manager always asked to stretch work hours which we always end up doing because we all not love but need the job and never gave feedbacks, during the time of promotions she never came back and told why I was not being promoted or when were the occasions when she was told my work was not up to the mark- never but yet 6 months experience 8 months experienced guys get promoted who never ever worked on end to end projects....Read More

In Tech Consulting the management is not bothered until you keep clients happy. You enjoy a freedom and flexibility to work as per client team. You won't be micromanaged from EY.

Hikes are less, even if your feedback was nice. It's like everyone gets the same hike, irrespective of the individual performances.

Their is nothing to like about they make you work for over 10-12 hrs a day without any recognition

The culture is very toxic with office politics always taking first place. Even if you outperform your peers you will not get appraisal or bonus because office politics may not allow it

EY is not at all a employee friendly company. Employees have to suffer a lot even for basic information. There is no specified department or person for employees query. Also, they something thing and give something as salary, they try to deduct salary as much as possible. The company's work culture is very good, with timely salary payments, a supportive team, and opportunities to learn and grow. The company is great if you're working on a client-side project. However, if you're working on an internal project, there is no job security.

The work environment at EY is really good. The working policy is flexible. Along with work there are social events, team building activities and a good leave policy which really enhance the working experience at EY.

Though there is flexibility in working hours, during interim and busy seasons it is expected to work for 11-12 working hours which is quite stressful. Your better working experience will also be dependent on the team that you get aligned to.
