I got a good & understanding team. My team was the best thing i liked at EY.
EY is all about cost cutting. They offer average pay packages & with marginal increments & bonus. There are a lot of deductions in form of penalties which are totally unnecessary & unacceptable. Poor work like balance & unnecessary deductions makes working at EY bad.

No likes at all.
No work life balance, Micro managing, escalations for not talking and chit chatting with colleagues, manager and the entire team was horrible and torturing. Please do not join EY GDS if you want peace of mind . Company stated having hybrid during interview.post joining manager is announcing to come to office daily . As per offer letter working hours is 9 hrs a day but manager bring new rules saying you need to work more than 9 hours and that too when I was in training period when no work was assigned. The company supports inclusiveness and the timings are flexible
No work life balance. Their system is pretty old model and hasn't evolved. If you are an EA you will have to take care of everything from Tea/coffee, water to cabin for your leader.

EY GDS culture is worst, too much office politics, poor leadership and management. These days they are hiring leaders from call centre and banks who does not have any experience into consulting and proper corporate culture. It depends on which entity you join I am working for EY India LLP tech consulting and 3 years been great. Culture and work life balance is great. Make sure to work and always get good client feedback. Work from home for eligible employees whos working great at client place. Outings, management events , offsite everything is good.
They don’t have rule of hire and fire like other service companies, but it’s good if you have a project always. Avoid being on bench. Only bad part is no cab facility.

There cost cut plan. No cabs for day time. Heavy target for agents. No concern on work life balance. Asking to login on weekends without any OT. workstation are too congested.
