It is a consulting firm, which asks employees to work from client location. There is nothing from the EPAM end. If client is good product based company you might have learning curve

Dislikes

Promotion Process doesn't consider employee performance in the client project. Hikes are less compared to market standards, for this term atleast. Works like a consulting company rather than a Organization, EPAM manager will not know what projects we are working on because we need to work from client location, because of this our work is not valued.

-Fixed Salary -Good health insurance -Good client base -For tech enthusiasts it's a great place as there are lot of learning platforms and so many hackathons and code events

-Short term projects -Annual appraisals are not aligned with employee performance -Once we come out from project, again we have to prepare and give interviews to get another project and client interviews are not that easy to crack -For experienced people like 8+ there will be hell lot of expectations and we have to contribute to Epam as well Client with this we lose work life balance. 1. Have to be in front of laptop for all the 9 business hours 2. Not allowed to attend meetings from outside of home or office 3. No work life balance 4. Promotion is forever a dream 5. Managers with full of attitude 6. Managers bully employees in front of everyone 7. No appreciation for good work

Client round interview will be taken after getting into the company. That is one of the bad things. Some times to get client interview will take time. They will they have hybrid model but based on client policies we need to go to office.

They have good learning platform and industry tie-ups to get your certifications done. This is the only good thing about this organization.

Dislikes

No job security at senior levels. Zero work life balance if you are into some project. Whether you will stay in the organization will primarily depend on whether you are above 80% into billable roles with some customer or the other. There is not much choice on the kind of roles as you have to just get into something to survive. The pay structure is all fixed, there are no variables. Appraisals are satisfactory most of the times. Work Life balance is good. Managers are mostly good.

Frequently changing systems, processes and policies. You have two managers, RM and Project Delivery Manager, which usually feels kind of confusing.

if you are core technical person than you would like here for the latest tech to work. U can contribute at the other tech/project if you are intrested. Easier project change. Monthly connect with team members.

this organization is well suited for roles at level A2-A5 and B3 and abovve.However if you're at the B1,B2 maintaingin a work life balance can be challenging . Additionally building connections is crucials for growth within the company. MD is getting involved at junior level promotion .

Promotion process which epam boasts about, is not as transparent as it seems. At the end of the day its not about skills you possess its about how many years of exp. you have.

Working with growing leaders is always exciting. They have N number of customers and value of employees. I too cane across of offers drops by the candidates in the market. But we always find a pool. Epam has good branding in market so less work on branding part.

Dislikes

Manager is good but lead is too toxic. Working in single technology hiring make me sad. So you will loose knowledge on other cutting edge technologies in market.

The work culture along with learnings is really good at EPAM. Really good for fresher of entry level

Dislikes

The benefits, appraisal is not satisfactory. Also these kind of process are very slow. Seems like no one takes care of this. Even getting promotion is also not easy because the top level management could set any rules & criteria which would be different for every team.
