Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? I enjoy the opportunity to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and help them with their questions and problems. Every day is different, and I appreciate the challenge of continuously learning and adapting to new situations.

Dislikes

I enjoy my current position, but one area that my present employer could improve is employee retention. We’ve had high turnover and I can feel the whole team’s mood dip when we receive an email that yet another person has left. Otherwise, it’s a great office environment and I’ve enjoyed all of the projects and work.
