The workplace culture falls short of what is expected today. For diligent workers, there are often no or very little raises. Company policies were one of the big drawbacks. Higher management still stick to old management policies

Teammates are not feeling job security. Appraisal process to be transparent and one to one discussion should happen honestly. Internal politics should be avoided. Usage of unparliamentary words and threatening words shall be avoided. ( Ex if you are not doing this job or not going to site you will be kicked out from this office). Gender bias should not be there. Due to lack of resource 4 to 5 projects to be handled by single person without juniors. This in turn affects each project deliverables and client satisfaction. Extended working time in all working days affects work life balance and creating stress which leads to spoil health condition. There is no decision taking middle management to raise our issues and technical discussion because everything has to be discussed and finalised by top management only. The experience and the reputation of the company in the industry is huge. Great work exposure and innovative designs helps us grow and enable us to compete with other competitors. The work timings are 9:00am-5:30pm, but when work demands, office hours may extend till midnight to complete the tasks, every now and then. Which I assume, is common in any organization. Work-life balance is good from my experience. But working from home is not at all appreciated by the organization even for emergencies. Providing lunch and evening snacks in the office is very well appreciated. But without a cafeteria to enjoy the meal, employees find it difficult to socialize with colleagues. Employee benefits and pay scale is not at all at par with parent L&T construction and other companies in the same industry. No free transport, team outings, house rental benefits, gymnasium, Cafeteria, and so on is not provided by the company which are all basic requirements for any office in the corporate world.

Job is secure here, work culture is good in our division (T&T), management is needs to be little bit flexible in its policies which does not affect the company. Employees are provided with lunch daily, which is decent enough.
