we can study anything regarding subject in free time. Main L & T ECC is very good in all the things. but they are merging some companiens with them like infrasturcture engineering is damging their names.

Since iam a contract employee the Head of Department gives importance to the premanaent staff eventhough they are wrong. they will not notice the seniors for leave, permission and work from home option even they are not informed to him. seniors working for more than 10 years there are very worst only for the name L&T they are simpily sitting there. Seniors comes in halfday and asks juniors to stay upto 8pm to 10pm to tally their own worktime. only for the name L&T many people working their they are not true to the company. If L& T ready to pay correct amount for the juniors they will truly work in that company....Read More

No respect for employee who served more than 20 or 25 years . Very rough treatment. When an employee resigns he has to pay 3 months gross salary if he cannot serve notice period, whereas the company pays leave encashment on separation on basic salary only, which is not equitable. When an employee resigns he will not receive the salary for the recent month he worked and he will get the salary of that month after 4 or 6 months along with Full & Final Settlement. If somebody want to resign he has to keep a buffer of at lest 3 months salary , if has a job in hand, and the next company permits him to join on or after 91st day...Read More

At the onset let me be clear. Its an ok company if you consider the consulting scene in india. Not too good but not too bad either. Timing are some what flexible. From 8 to 930 you can punch in whenever you want.

Dislikes

Dont expect the appraisal system to be fair. Be ready to work long hours if you get stuck on an unfortunate project. Dont expect any help from top Management since they only care about the billing in your project. Some good technical seniors were available at one time but now everyone is either leaving or have left.
