ATO is one of the few companies that actually cares about statutory compliances. In my final round interview the Director himself asked me specific questions regarding PF/ESI and other HR laws. The entire management always asks me and my associates to follow all due process while hiring. I have to prepare a sheet showing statutory compliances before hiring someone.

Dislikes

I am always overworked. The company has atleast 5 open positions on any day. I had to hit the ground running for recruiting on day 1 and management directly questions us regarding hiring targets. This is good but I wish I had more breathing time.

All Sundays are off. We are not asked to do any work on Sundays. Also everyone leaves office by 7pm on weekdays so we can have a comfortable life at home. Saturdays are half days till 3:30pm only. Salary comes by first week of the month. Office is clean and nice.

Dislikes

There is nobody to guide us and show each step. We are only given targets and expected to perform. Luckily I had some seniors who were willing to help me. Sometimes we are sent to do errands of other group companies of the MD that is not related to our key expertise.

In this Company, If you are applying do not apply. They will make you work like machines and still at the end of the day the managing directors will treat you like trash, also accuse you for stealing their money. They will make you do a lot of illegal stuff under your name which will give you a career risk. You might get swayed withthe big office in PS Srijan Park but don’t get lured in that and waste your time. Worst Company to work for in India and West Bengal. The managing directors will behave like you have to wipe their feet if they have hired you as a fresher. All the managing directors have done their Education for oh so expensive schools from Abroad, guess they didn’t teach them Human Relations. Only flaunting the money they didn’t earn and got as a hand me down. There are zero benefits in the company, no leaves and no holidays where all the Corporate houses give holidays. Well my bad, it’s not a corporate house, it’s a grocery store because people get told not to come from the next day. The MDs will question your education and tell that you do not have good education and that you need to study again for college will only make you believe that he must have studied till Class Eight.
