The people in accenture is good

The working culture is toxic. There is no work life balance. When people started moving out due to no promotions and appraisal since a year, Accenture started to move them to PIP. There is lot of internal politics.

Abundant trainings, they focus on providing courses, if you are doing just fine at your job you will not have to worry about job security, also if you are a cunning person, you will get onsite.

Dislikes

Politics, no growth, no work life balance, no hikes, salary sucks, nobody knows anything.

You can maintain work life balance here. If you want to learn new skills, you will get lot of opportunities by trainings and certifications free of cost.

Dislikes

No salary hike for employees for last one year. Variable amount is very high and you will get paid hardly 10% of it. There is not much extra salary benefit.

Accenture is great place to work as it provides work life balance. U get good benefits and bonus as well. Projects are also good in Accenture.

Dislikes

Accenture do not provide good projects for the associates/freshers. They put u in the very old technology related project which hampers the growth of the individual and u lack behind in the technology. Also it's upto ur luck also which projects u get!!

As some of my friends also work in Accenture but on different projects have very toxic culture and some have more better than mine. Promotion and hikes also very low from last 2 years. Tons of things to say. First of all, no good trainings given to the new employees. All the team leaders, bosses and managers are in real hurry from day one. There is no proper introduction given about the company and also about the works/tasks we are supposed to do. The place we work is dirty, noisy and ergonomically poorly designed. Other senior employees laugh, talk, murmur while working so it gets very difficult for the new comers to work in a focused manner in a quiet environment. Hardly any breaks for food in a 8-10 hrs shift. Lastly Accenture hired me in a rotational job shift but after clearing all my interviews when I was hired I was out to work only in night shift. I also questioned them that we had an agreement that I would be working in Accenture in a rotational shift position then why are you guys assigning me only night shift!? Well they were speechless and had their backs against the wall and didn’t have any answers. Such things happen in Accenture India. I would highly recommend people to first see the workplace, the work and the timings you all are getting hired for and then if everything is fine then only join. I am not seeing any good thing regarding learning point of view, work point of view. Yeah good thing you will get so many event mail like secret santa, fun friday but you can't participate if you don't have good relation with manager.
