I am not seeing any good thing regarding learning point of view, work point of view. Yeah good thing you will get so many event mail like secret santa, fun friday but you can't participate if you don't have good relation with manager. You will be enjoying Accenture if you have good relation with your manager. Everything is dislike. If you are not from south indian then you will be trouble. I am requesting to Accenture if you don't like other state people then don't hire other state people and don't spoil other sate resources career. People have their own projects and work independently with onshores and not Indian managers

Dislikes

Toxic work environment. If you raise genuine concerns or issues with management they will not listen and then tag it you as complaint box. This will also affect ur rating. Protect their favourites. People who butter the Indian leads gets promotion within a year or two and get good joke. Favouritism is very much prevalent.

Bad middle management. People who are not even lead level are managers here . You will not be recognised even when the client has rave reviews about you . There is something fundamentally gone wrong with Accenture recruitment and promotions .50:50 is fine but make sure that it is a credible 50:50

I would say this whole-ly depends on the client and the team you end up in. The people you work with on a daily basis, the developers you interact with, the testers and POs. In terms of work ethic and deliverable quality, I feel I work with the best minds in this team, and that makes me want to become and push my skillset.

The team you work with, work life balance goes in a shambles. Zero Socializing, teams meets, anything that isnt work, doesnt have space on the calendar of the team i work in. Been with this current client of mine for close to 2 years and i haven't met anyone from the team, other than knowing what they sound like, i have no clue about them. Being paid in peanuts, not meeting people, weekends are workdays at times. Tons of things to say. First of all, no good trainings given to the new employees. All the team leaders, bosses and managers are in real hurry from day one. There is no proper introduction given about the company and also about the works/tasks we are supposed to do. The place we work is dirty, noisy and ergonomically poorly designed. Other senior employees laugh, talk, murmur while working so it gets very difficult for the new comers to work in a focused manner in a quiet environment. Hardly any breaks for food in a 8-10 hrs shift. Lastly Accenture hired me in a rotational job shift but after clearing all my interviews when I was hired I was out to work only in night shift. I also questioned them that we had an agreement that I would be working in Accenture in a rotational shift position then why are you guys assigning me only night shift!? Well they were speechless and had their backs against the wall and didn’t have any answers. Such things happen in Accenture India. I would highly recommend people to first see the workplace, the work and the timings you all are getting hired for and then if everything is fine then only join.
