One suggestion is to join Accenture as direct employee not on contract. Employees have more or all the perks but contractor dose not have much perks.

Dislikes

The leads takes up the task without even asking team members wether they will be able to make time for others task because already team is overloaded with tasks. One team have lot more task to do. For contractors there is no opportunity to grow. And salary increment is low and even we have to ask for the increment.

Accenture has to work on giving opportunities for upskilling , better pay structure for the loyal employees or rather same pay for same designation and should provide better career growth opportunities.

They roll off their current employees and hire once who are on hold. So no job security at Accenture

The bond is of two years and the roll of their employees. And also no job Training is given on new joining. Team leads also won't help.

Their promotion system has become very questionable from 2017 for ASE's If you get a support project then you are not going to learn anything work life balance sucks if you get into a support morever they give boring working of monitoring to new ASE's in a support project

Majority of the projects have a good teams while there are few leads and higher authorities controlling your activities. The good part is that there are a lot of trainings available for permanent employees like online, classroom, personality development and etc

Dislikes

If you join as an ASE the promotion and hike cycle is after 2 years.. . In my case my manager wanted to promote me in a year but was unable to do so.. .

It has been a great start to my career with Accenture as the work ethics and learning objectives are crystal clear and rightly implemented, one of the core principles of Accenture is inclusion and diversity, which I feel is a commendable thing that Accenture practices.

This might not apply to everyone but what I had faced was my voice wasn't always heard and also few individuals at leadership level are not well trained and they do not themselves practice the policies that they preach. For instance , I was not briefed well about the project that had been offered to me and later I was told that the account involved shifts and i was not left with no other option but to cater to their needs despite of me bringing to their notice of my worsening effects I had on my health....Read More
