There is nothing to like about working here.

The company runs like a Govt office. Earlier it used to have a charm, however, in recent times, the work culture has deteriorated. People work at their own pace and do not understand the importance of anyone's time or project. Priorities keep changing every now and then and the information is not well communicated by managers to thejuniors. So most of the time the junior associates are clueless about what to work on. There is no adaptability to new technology or a better way of doing a project. There are few people who want to run it just like a government office. Does not even understand what the term "Corporate" means. Staying in one company for a longer period of time does not make you experienced unless new rules are applied to do a project efficiently. People are inexperienced and they need to be trained again and again on how to do a job. The SMEs who teach are not efficient. The level of ownership in TLs and teams are very less. Coming to the compensation part, which is negligible. They cannot match the price of your current market value. Their compensation justifications are horrible - "the company did not make a profit, so please do not have high expectations on compensation". Also, the compensation element is not uniform across upGrad. Only because the earlier management made mistakes, now the current employees have to face the consequences. They do not have any proper forecast on how a particular element will be ready for the market. That's because the company runs like a government office. There is no ownership. Work Details

My work is highly challenging as I have to look after 4-5 projects parallelly at the same time with the same set of resources that are also involved in other projects. As the workforce is novice, sometimes it is tiring & repetitive.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)
