Nothing to like about it.
This company will suck the blood out of your veins. Starting with the transport, it completely sucks with no AC cabs in 45+ degrees+ a deduction of 500 INR from your monthly salary. Zero Flying F***s given by the management about the employee health and work-life balance. the greatest example is calling employees to the office in covid times as well without any safety norms with 6 people sitting in a cab. No social distancing followed. Few of the employees were even found to be infected with the covid and still, they are calling people to the office, putting employees' health at the highest possible risk. People from the management start working from home as soon as they get news of even a single reported case....Read More

I joined Jan 23 2023, April 1st onwards HR declared like Project manager and above will not get Variable component mentioned for 1st quarter but dragged till 3 quarters. In my case wen I have project it's company guidelines no variable and wen we are in bench it's company policy not to pay variable component. No one will be there to guide if any issue happens.
Variable pay component not paid, annual appraisal will be taken but no payment wat ever rating and they are ready to terminate at anytime. Wen joining the company you are great fellow to terminate you are outdated in 1 year.

Initially Tech Mahindra was good, however now it has gone bad to worse. Most important here is managers nor company don't trust you. You need to swipe your badge daily to mark your attendance and keep a software running in your system to ensure you are working 9+ hrs, which captures your break time and report it to your supervisor
Tech Mahindra is more interested in building shit tools where employees don't even use a month rather than using them for employees benefits. HRs are most lazy teams here. They don't care about employees.

Highly biased operations Manager - Salma Sattar Shaikh (Handling a process under connect group as Smiths News) -- very poor management . She is extremely toxic for people and revengeful as well in a very very cleaver manner . Being a QA i have personally witnessed many of the tenured team leaders leaving the organization because of her mood swings , a total drama queen on floor and even agents are aware of her behavior. Currently she is running this process as her family business . I left the organization in June 2024 , even now some of the leads and SME's call and share about there grievance of being tortured by her. Anyone planning to join Tech M be very very cautious as DO NOT JOIN SMIITHS NEWS as there is no employee centricity and there are no efforts to retain employee even is they give their blood & sweat for the company . Extremely toxic Manager . Least bothered to save tenured employees . Nothing in black and white . Excess grey matter . The work environment is very good and collaborative and their team members and seniors and colleagues are very helpfull and supportive . Overall tech Mahindra gave me the better opportunity to enhance my knowledge and skills.
Their shift timings are very inconvenient . Because their day shift is okay but night shifts are not good for the female employees because the shift timings like 4:00 to 1:00 So I was not comfortable to work there.

Skill development and learning are mandatory in TechM which helps people to grew their skills.
Appraisals are the worst as most people will get 4% hike. People who work beyond will get the same increment as with the other people as it is default by the grade. And when it comes to bonus for any festivals, they will not provide any.

Managers dont follow the policies set by the top management. Policies are just to show that they have something called a policy. Each manager follows their own set of policy. For example, there is a policy of hybrid work, but my manager enforces 5 day WFO and gives warnings if we dont follow it
