It has low work load due to enough support staff and job is secure as TCS will never ask to leave unless there is a major policy violation.

Dislikes

No Appraisals. No Bonus. No management of Project. No proper Org Hierarchy. All Policies are Complex and Confusing. Internal project movement is near impossible. Promotion will be heard rarely. Lots of hidden charges. And the most important, you will never get salary given in offer letter, it will be short by around atleast 2 LPA or more than that only.

•RMG in TCS is bad as they don’t give any bother about you or the your dreams. Especially with young professionals between 1-4 years they don’t respect and treat as commodities and assign you projects against your will. Not 100% RMG are this way as I have noticed some good people among them but most of them just want to achieve their targets. TCS is best with respect to job secuirity until and unless you break any company ethics.

Dislikes

But if you are fresher or your current salary is less and you are switching only to stay in TCS for long time period then don't join. Join TCS if your current salary is 4-5 times than the market standard for the same role with same years of experince.

As everyone mentions job security is great. Skill development and learning aspect is good but very less chance of using it practically what ever you have learnt. In TCS everything depends on what project you are in. If you are in BPS tag its better to develop skills and salary hike for BPS is very less

Before anyone reading this once again i have to mention everything depends on the project. 1. Work culture 2. Managers are toxic and they treat you badly 3. There is no use of having certain skills and not using it practically 4. They don't respect the skills set you are having 5. There is very less hike for BPS tag. 6. If you ever moved to bench, While attending project interview. Don't trust managers whatever they say and don't give approval to mail easily by trusting manager information. 7. Not recommended for freshers. Difficult to find project according to choice. Almost impossible. Slow and inefficient management &HR. 5 Days work from office. Slow promotions and increments.
