My experience with this company was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about how they treat employees and interns. I initially applied for a full-time position, but after the interview, they unexpectedly changed it to an internship without any prior communication. The internship lasted for two months, with the promise that only top performers would be considered for full-time roles. During the first month, no stipend was provided. In the second month, the stipend was supposedly performance-based, but there was no clarity on the evaluation criteria. After completing both months, when we asked about full-time positions and the stipend, they kept delaying their responses. Interviews were scheduled multiple times but were repeatedly postponed at the last minute, causing significant inconvenience. Even after the interviews were conducted, they kept us waiting indefinitely for the results. While the project was still ongoing, they did not inform us about the interview process or the results. They kept postponing the interviews and the results for weeks. After the project was completed, they became very rude and stopped responding properly. The project manager reviewed the requirements from the clients but did not share those requirements with the designers. After we completed the designs, they asked for changes that were actually part of the original requirements. The project manager acted as if they were the client, demanding changes on the spot and then blaming the designers for the issues. They expected complete redesigns without acknowledging that the confusion was due to their own lack of communication. After the designers logged off for the day, the project manager would silently change the designs overnight without any acknowledgment or communication. This led to even more confusion and frustration, as the changes were made without consulting the team responsible for the work. When we followed up in person at their office, they outright denied ever promising full-time roles or a stipend, despite the fact that we worked on real projects. After a long argument, they reluctantly agreed to provide a stipend, but the amount was so low that it didn’t even cover travel expenses. This experience revealed a pattern of unprofessionalism and dishonesty. If they treat interns this way, it raises serious concerns about how they might treat full-time employees. It felt like they expected us to work under exploitative conditions, showing little respect for our time and effort.
