It's better to join some startup than this company. It's complete waste of your time in your career.You will learn nothing here except how to be slave of client. You will be sold to client thereafter no connect with you from persistent except client escalations .plus here there is partiality and favourism at its peak..Media agility (Which persistent have aquired) team have upper edge then persistent team, only people from media agility have say in decision making, your input wont be entertained if you are not from media agility team. GOOD HIKE AND PROMOTION ARE ONLY FOR BOOTLICKERS and media agility company people.Better sit at home for couple of month to search for new Job then to join here.Still if you join here then check who is from media agility team and just observe, they will have all the control and you will work there like their slave.Also here during early appraisal cycle lots of lay off happens (count in 100s) which no one talk about. HR will call you in cabin and say today is your last day. They will forcibly ask you to resign.This applies to you when you are not allign in any project there in no bench system in this organization.People from media agility won't get this treatment even if they are do not have any project, they won't be fired. Instead some one from media agility team will take him/her in their project even though they don't have sufficient budget and then some one who is not from media agility will get fired....Read More

We have good work life balance at persistent but it will totally depend on your project. Apart from this we food and other cultural activities are good & also they focus on upskilling activities.

As growing company it's good but management is different project wise. Some are toxic and some are cool.

No Proper appraisal, no work life balance left. No job security left. Just work or get ready to layoff. Why to come to office if you have to work 12 hrs a day.

Absolutely nothing! Just salary credit end of the month.

Highly toxic, disrespectful and unethical culture. There is no rewards and recognition to your efforts. Absolutely, no vision for your growth and career! Highly insecure if someone is on bench for 30-45 days. And yes, you need to search project. There is absolutely “NO” help from RM or HR. “EMPATHY” lacks completely across the board. Extremely unhealthy environment!

It's is besically a Dada-Bhaiya Company(People have settled down here with family). Politics is everywhere. Groupsim is on the top. HR might call you to help you resign anytime(Poor performance may be given as a reason).

1) If your project gets over, you need to find your next project. RM is present but they don't put any effort. If you are not able to get onto a project in 3 months, due to any reason, you are asked to leave. 2) If you are not a sycophant and don't bootlick/flatter your manager/superior, don't expect any performance raise. 3) DirectProject managers/Heads may speak to you once or twice a year. All feedback is got from project leads or Work managers. So you need to be a yes-man/woman and accept everything that the lead /work manager says if you want positive feedback. 4) KRA's will be assigned to you (which cannot be measured quantitatively) so even if you feel that you have done good throughout the year, you will be appraised wrongly and will not get a proper raise. There may not be any appraisal meeting as well, and an appraisal for you will be just submitting a form electronically. 5) If you need anything from Finance, HR, Operations departments, be prepared to send several emails and do exhaustive follow up, as they just do not reply. You will be lucky if you get a reply in 2-3 weeks. 6) If you are on board a Customer project, be prepared to stretch for 13-14 hours (and more) if your Customer is in PST time zone. 7) A lot of back-biting is present. Your peers and immediate seniors will smile on your face but may speak negative about you when asked for a feedback during the performance appraisal (happens a lot across projects). 8) If you have leaves, don't expect that you will be able to take one easily as your project manager will try his/her best to dissuade you from taking leave, when you want, citing billing as an issue. 9) Don't expect anything to learn apart from your regular project work.
