Great place to work on. Good inhouse oportunity to grow in ladders and they also pay 50000 per year for unskilled yourself. They provide day care facilities to all employees for their kids till 6 years of age.

Dislikes

I would say every organization have some ppl who downgrade the work culture (both management and employees) but overall it's a great place to work. I believe shift timings can be reduced to 9 hours that helps more work life balance.

Although such benefits are there, the company fails to recognize and promote decent talent. There was a monetized incentive program[apart from perf bonus] earlier, which got scrapped, the pay is on the lower end of a decent scale. No appraisal no hikes no promotion the management was not good they are not least bothered about their employees. Head office was in gurgaon but those people develop their self they will not give much importance to Hyderabad employees A part from IT sector if you randomly ask with any operational team you will get the same answer their is politics. Most projects has good work life balance unless your in production support. Less layoffs compared to other companies

Optum is really a great organisation to work. Many benefits including work Life balance, can facility, hybrid model, very supportive colleagues and senior management is also very empathetic.

I personally felt that optum is not good if you want to grow fast or want timely promotions.
