Oman Mining Co.LLC Oman Govt.owned.Having its own Copper Ore,Gold Ore 5nos.of Mines. Open pit and incline.tunnels.in addition to mines there were CONCENTRATE PLANT,PELLET PLANT,SMELTER,CASTING UNIT,TO MAKE ANODES AND REFINERY AS WELL TO GET 99.9 CATHODES Which exports to LME.LONDON METAL EXCHANGE.from there sold to globle market. Inmy life never found such a company like heaven.. Initially in 1981there was 100%expats working worldwide.later on due to omanisation up to 90%. I, myself retired in 2016. I miss Oman Mining. We were very Very happy to work with other expats.they were from Filipino,srilankans,British,Canadians,south African and ofcource Omani locals Team work.our work plan maintenance,overhauling components, breakdowns, fault finding, trouble shooting etc.
