Likes

Good work environment. Teaching staffs are supportive.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. A bond of 2 yrs as probation period but non gets permanent before 3 years. Worst in HR policies and rules. Job security is not there and cannot get any recognition for the skills and work we do.

Work Details

The job is quite interesting. Learnt everything on the job.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

_Lessons Learned from 1.3 Years of Remote Work_ 1. Separate friendship and professional work to maintain professionalism. 2. Keep career decisions and sensitive information confidential. 3. Avoid procrastination by staying focused on goals and prioritizing tasks. 4. Focus on personal growth, rather than comparing yourself to others. 5. Set clear boundaries and prioritize tasks to maintain productivity. 6. Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor, even in virtual interactions. 7. Use video conferencing tools to stay connected with colleagues. 8. Prioritize integrity by delivering high-quality work. 9. Take ownership of your career by setting goals and seeking feedback. 10. Establish clear expectations with colleagues and managers. 11. Celebrate achievements and recognize progress to stay motivated. By applying these lessons, I've been able to thrive in a remote work environment.
