A joke of an office—it's more like a warehouse. No proper desks, no regular hours. They drop work on us at the last minute (mein koi bottle se nikla hua bhoot hu jo ek ke baad ek kaam dete he ja rahe ho), making us stay late for nothing. No bonuses, no respect, no thanks (chai-coffee ka bhi ginatey hai) Manager: This guy's the worst. He's just a assistant for the boss, making our lives miserable. Always interferes in employee's tasks, purposely giving bad feedback of co-workers to the boss so that their increment gets stuck and he himself takes credit & about a great hike in salary for no-reason. Only plays meeting-meeting with boss. Boss: The boss portrays himself as an expert but struggles to make independent decisions. He imposes meaningless tasks, no respect to employee's personal lives. Promises to provide with a monetary benefits, but the day never comes, when employees asks for the reward, he pin-points 100s other mistakes and refuses to do so. Need Your Valuable Advice.

Hello, 6 months ago, I switched from my previous job to my current one with a 40% salary hike. At that time, it seemed like a great opportunity, but now, I am seriously considering my decision. My previous job had, 1. A European MNC team with excellent support and work culture 2. Good Time for my family & personal life 3. Flexible timing & permanent work-from-home 4. 5 days working with proper work-life balance Now, in my current Indian company: 1. 12-hour workdays, with additional work on Saturdays (despite a 5-day work policy) 2. No proper training 3. Toxic work culture, where I get scolded daily due to a lack of training 4. Hardly any time for my kids and parents 5. Started my health issues My previous company is willing to take me back with a 10% hike on my last salary. Given the work-life balance, supportive environment, and long-term growth prospects I had there, I am thinking of returning. *It is not going to impact on my monthly expenses.* Would you recommend going back?
