Dislikes

Its a great company. But with very poor culture. Lot of bureaucracy that has got crept in. Absence of flexibility, better pay, absence of work life balance, too much of stress are some of the things that are not aligned with the set up.

The pay structure is neither according to the experience level nor the market level for the experience / application we work on. Also, criteria considered for pay hike are many. Secondly, its mandatory for a person to come and work in office over weekend when it necessitates to avail a comp off, which otherwise are considered as not eligible for applying for comp off. This is very much wrong as not all employees can come to office to support on weekend and if any urgent cases we support from home. Salary hike for employees working in LTIMindtree more than 8 years, is very very less. Company should consider to increase the compensation for old employees to retain. Because old employees understand the organization better which would be beneficial to company in long run. Even though we ping the HR associated to us in Ultima Works portal, they wouldn't respond. 1) Work culture is so bad post merged Mindtree into LTI where micromanagement peaked, specially with PMO’s became toxic. 2)for billing they ask you to convert your skill irrespective of core background.. 3) won’t get any benefits and medical is another joke (you need to get sick for min 3days to avail)also appraisal is a big joke, projection vs implementation no comparison. 4) avoid this company who are planning long term association. 5) practise units will bug you all the time for project info tools/implementation from multiple resources. 6) normal employee can’t reach leadership if any problem, but if they want something from you need to join even if you are on client work. 7) HR people are the worst they behaviour costing company reputation and unresponsive all time.( don’t expect any transparent comm) 8) hire n fire 9) new performance criteria rule on appraisal where 50% project other 50% non project. Some managers create unnecessary chois for instance recently it is made madatory to book seat before comming to office but the app not allowing enough employees to book the seat but most of the seats are empty inside.
