    Good team, colleagues and manager. Hybrid model. Work life balance

    Dislikes

    After the merger this company has gone bad. No salary hike, no appraisal. Even if you get it’s like 0.5-1%. I would suggest skip this company for now until they have adjusted to their merger and start valuing their employees by paying them fairly and not in peanuts!!!

    ...ence. If you get into good projects and work well. You might get good appraisal. But the appraisal is only on paper and doesn't reflect much on your salary.

    They delay the appraisals and finally when it comes to your hand you will hardly see a minor change after working for 1.5 years. They have very unusual hike cycle.

    They have created some good learning experiences and work from home which was there from long time.

    Dislikes

    There are many things I dislike. i) Salary hike they have done for some of them and they left a lot of them as is. Since communication between employees is less due to work from home during COVID period. They are taking complete advantage of this. ii) Freshers intake has spiked because a lot of lateral employees are unwilling to join after L&T has taken over. Those who are joining are not that good (all round ). iii) Technical leads and architects lot of them don't have proper qualifications. They are coming from Civil, Mechanical and unrelated background with poor communication skills. Poor guys, they think they are 10x software engineers after their experience. Here in Microsoft account, Microsoft FTE keep throwing them out in less than 2 months. It's very interesting to know that lot of them made it to onsite. No wonder people who abuse H1Bs are of poor quality. iv) Company is run by L&T, Forget about salary hikes, They are slowly killing MindTree. Their main objective is "Money"

    I personally liked the opportunity Mindtree gave me to grow as an individual both career wise and financially. Mindtree gave me enough facility and push to learn new technology and skills while working. Also the Manager and other senior employees were easy to reach and they always supported my ambition.
