IBM Software is very good org, where we get paid well and all the latest Technolgies we can able to use. I'm not aware of other org's inside IBM. Worklife balance Managers will listen to what the team members say's. Good Leave policy and managers mostly won't ask anything if leaves are less than 3 days.

Dislikes

Office is situated in EGL, Domlur and Bharathiya City. No transportation is provided. Health insurance for parents won't be covered, we need to take top-up for parents.

Amazing work life balance, flexible working hours, wfh. Management is responsive most of the times if based out of India.

Dislikes

Global leads are not that much reachable due to timezone differences. Work can be a lot of redundant and mostly on support side. Better to change within teams.

1. Managers are encouraging to extend responsibilities and to cultivate a growth culture within organization. 2. Almost nil micro management. 3. IBM means flexible work hours, offs, schedules, wfh, and ofcourse unlimited sick leave. 4. IBM culture is awesome what is never seen in other big consulting companies especially some of the Indian Big Giants. 5. Perks are very less in IBM and salary hikes as well. However if you are an extraordinary professional then you can get good salary hikes. Promotions depends on your luck and situation, still on an average every 3 to 4 year you may get next level promotion if you are a performing professional. Sometimes it can speed up, i myself have got no promotion in 4.5 yrs and then double promotions in 2 years. It depends on your luck, manager, project and unbiased appraisal ratings.
