HR roles and responsibilities and their visibility could be better. Flexibility in office hours results in odd timming for employees who have family responsibilities, and by and large is at the hands of your reporting manager. 75% of the large accounts and associated project work is US and UK based, consequently employee end up working at odd hours, thereby taking dents at work life balance. Only work culture is good but that will put you in their comfort zone and you will never progress professionally.

People manager and HR are totally waste and they are never interested in your career path. You need to fight with everyone in IBM for your band progression. HR puts gun on People Manager and fires the employee. Your band progression in IBM is your worry and not your manager's worry.

There won't be any promotion and hike and if an employee work with 200 %dedication ,their won't be any hike at all.I mean how employee will be motivated for the next year and finally they will leave the company.If you need any HR support or IT support,there is no helpdesk number.You have to depend on chat bot which are worst.They neva give proper reply which you really want from them.

Initially I was placed in banglore but it seems northees will never fit there.. people use to talk in their native language. Upon asking what was being discussed nothing was answered. Shifted to gurgaon via internal movement.. here the manager's behaviour is like a pampered kid. If he doesn't get what is required he will start misbehaving with the team. Overall a pathetic experience

Everything is good if you have good people manager and project manager then. If you resigned IBM they will give you low performance. And in final settlement you will not get your GDP, performance bonus any extra amount. You will get only leave encashment that's it. Thank you
