Too many veterans who have been with the company for many years and know how to navigate the system w/o a lot of effort and calling the shots as far as management decisions are concerned. This can be a deal breaker for someone who moves in laterally from another org for instance

They have good infrastructure and are the only company in Bangalore that gives 6 months of paternal leave.

Dislikes

HPE used to have the best work-life balance in the whole of Bangalore, but now it's equivalent to a service company. Along with the work-life balance, the salary structure is at 50% of the current market pricing for existing senior positions along with skill upgrades.

This company has terminated me due to one day Moonlight and interests only Contract employees. I observed here some connection between Contract employees to Managers and HP Management doesn't idea on it.

Great work life balance. Good place to settle down if you have low expectations in your life.

Dislikes

The pros come at a cost. Very poor management with just 2 brain cells. One for asking the ETA and one more is to tell why you cannot get a hike this time. HRs and managers don't even want to break a sweat to retain employees. This will affect the long term growth of the company since the only people that would stick are the ones whoexcel at playing games and events organised by the HR. All I'm saying is HR needs to spend some time looking at peer companies and the kind of money they throw on retaining employees, not just have events exclaiming what an amazing culture you have. Every single person in the org knows that HPE pays below market standards and what peers are offering, so my suggestion is don't wait for employees to go get another offer letter for demanding a hike, chances are most likely you cannot counter....Read More
