Work ,life balance is bad, need to work on Saturday, Sunday, holidays, leave. Job security is good, leave policy is good, but due to no support staff we need to work on holidays, leave days. No Incentive.

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees

the job is quite instresting struggled the in the beginning as were there was no formal training session I learned every thing in the job a God a change to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a test of different role within the same team

Personally, I felt learning and team support is there. Although, sometimes politics plays an important role since every colleague is a competitor, but my seniors and colleagues are quite supporting.

Dislikes

Immense pressure for business. No work life balance. After lockdown, you won't get any Holiday even on Sundays sometimes.

The only thing that I found that atleast few things like getting your salary or receiving any official documents is centralised so that no one can poke their nose in it other they'll surely try.

I would not say that bank is bad, if bank is on the top so it's surely have its advantages but I strongly believe that my branch and my seniors over their are the worst, it's a nightmare for any person who is just trying to start his career. They have pushed to an extent that I have to resign. I have worked their for 9 months and almost 11 hours every day but still they have treated my me like a shit and this started me self doubting, mental disorder and good knows what. The day I resigned is the day when one of my senior exploited to my very extent for the business and personally that I have to resign on the very same day, he was lucky that I didn't file FIR against him. Still HDFC bank has paid me the salary for 9 months and I have learn enough about life in that time and I just hope that things get better over there because in 9 months almost 8-9 employees have resigned that simply means there is something wrong for sure... The least someone can do is that they can make things better over there... Since my last working day I m still unemployed, I feel terrible about it......Read More
