Work life balance and corporate ethics are terrible. Being Top MNC , still politics rule your career rather than your actual contributions towards work. Still HCL has to go long way before becoming employee friendly company.

Being a service company, emphasis was to provide business support at non bau time to clients. Any extra efforts put by you towards company is just ignored in the end , so no point in being ambitious over here.

The ever leading topic of notice period

I am working currently as a team lead for hcl and since idiotically I didn't switch any companies from start 2019 till now, I have a measly ctc of 4.3 lpa. I got an offer accepting 8lpa , but they are demanding to join in 15 days. And hcltech, being the company it is, is having 90 days notice period, negotiable to 60 days only. Initial negotiation with my current manager and the new company hr didn't go over that well, I am in a bind now. Any suggestions?
