There is job security compared to other companies. They do not believe in hire and fire. They have many projects to work, so there is bit security for job as you have plenty of work to do. Salary is on time. Will get chance to learn new things and certifications.

Dislikes

There is no real transparency in promotion. Even there is no automated process to pick persons who has not promoted for last more than couple of years. Salary hike is very less in percentage, mostly in single digit. Sometimes no hike at all. Fully micromanaging tool (Sapience) to check utilization of 9 hours, for which most of the employees are dissatisfied irrespective of theirs' successful project deliveries. Company policies are highly unethical in nature and they really don't give a damn to employees career aspirations. Work here is solely driven by people at the top.

The ever leading topic of notice period

I am working currently as a team lead for hcl and since idiotically I didn't switch any companies from start 2019 till now, I have a measly ctc of 4.3 lpa. I got an offer accepting 8lpa , but they are demanding to join in 15 days. And hcltech, being the company it is, is having 90 days notice period, negotiable to 60 days only. Initial negotiation with my current manager and the new company hr didn't go over that well, I am in a bind now. Any suggestions?
