There are very less projects using new technologies so no learning opportunities. Work life balance is pathetic No appraisal for last 3 years and max appraisal was 10% that too for the employees who are promoted. Overall work experience is very very bad

Very bad experience in global logic...if are you in senior position always be changing your project from one location to another. Never go with noida location project..the work environment is toxic.no hike from 2022 to 2024 June ...If you got a good review in a project and at the time of hike if somehow you will be changing the another project...you wont get hike after getting the good review on last project.. there is no Job security on Global Logic..After taking by the hitachi they stooped the hike and promotion....Read More

GL doesnt believe in hire and fire unless you have behavioral issues. Most of the projects are like acquired taste and employees get ample time to scale up their performance.

1. Middle Leadership does micro management and decision changes are dynamic in nature. 2. No help from DM if you are stuck somewhere. most of projects have abusive culture which drains life out of people.

There is no proper management on the floor and also their is partiality between employes and leads also there is micro management.Manager will be sitting in home and will be asking information to the employees regarding Team Leads.And coming to leaves their is partiality in this also.It has been faced by me I asked for paternity leave where the management declined and gave option work from Home on Weekends If I need to take leaves.HR is also supporting the manager itself.Infact int seems to be I have joined unnecessarily here there is no support regarding to the work if we say I am not aware of this thing they shout on floor saying what are you for and what is experience and they will say etc.In simples I have been worked under ruthless manager where I can't get any support in terms of work and anything.Its non IT mapping process....Read More

Global Logic is a very good company to learn lots of technologies. GL have many client companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, T-Mobile, Ericsson, HAPG Lumada etc. All client companies have good tech stack to improve your skills.

Dislikes

Hike is not giving on time, This year ( 2023 ) we are in Q4 still we haven't received hike letter for the current financial year. Also chennai office is not that much big you won't feel like that you are in office so better to select different branch if you are okay with salary package to feel the actual office culture. Apart from this GL is good company.

No appraisals done since July 2021, all the employees are leaving the company one by one as employees haven’t got any appraisals from past two years and the company doesn’t care about it and even not not saying anything on this topic and just keep postponing the appraisals in the name of recession which is clearly gone but still they are just using this as an excuse and also not giving any salary to the employees who goes on pool. Higher management are highly rude and doesn't know how to talk to team. Although the project is already in bad condition their strategy is to humiliate teams and people and then think they will have higher productivity.

Work life balance depends on the project in whichever company you work so i can't generalise it, overall salary benefits is good if you discuss it before joining the company only.

1. Doesn't gives appraisal, they can any time close the appraisal cycles without any reason. 2. In last 3 years only 1 time appraisal has happened. 3. Big talks less show. 4. Don't go by the name Hitachi linked to it's name, thay dont care much about Globallogic, there's nothing in common between Hitachi and Globallogic either cukture, growth, payscale. Just the normal top of the head policies. 5. Policies are not applicable to all by default, if you are falling under default appraisal cycle withing 6 months of your joining, there's a possibility you won't get that as it's all on your manager, HR are just for organising calls....Read More
