I personally didnt have a good experience . To say I liked only the lunch outings I had with my peers. The managers at the TP team in EY were uncooperative in helping out new entrants and there was no campus to corporate workshop or anything to accomodate new hire to make us feel comfortable.
Well since its asking to be polite I have no other option but to lie. It was a very stifling work environment with no support system whatsoever. But Thank God I managed to come out alive and survive.
Free food that didn't taste good.

In Tech Consulting the management is not bothered until you keep clients happy. You enjoy a freedom and flexibility to work as per client team. You won't be micromanaged from EY.
Hikes are less, even if your feedback was nice. It's like everyone gets the same hike, irrespective of the individual performances.

Culture was brilliant.
Managers don't bother about their sub ordinates, neither are interested to have any healthy conversations. Crapy salary hike, no promotion, no skill upliftment.

I had a great time at EY. I was surrounded by very hard working people who set very high standards and very good example. The Leadership under whom I work was very supportive and helpful.
The demands of work is high and pace of work is quite fast. Even though I enjoyed it. But it may not be for everyone

Extremely poor culture. Company don't give appraisal letters to some employees and states that it's a glitch from their end. Higher management incapable to bring clients or engage consultants and then forces resignation. Bootlickers in close circle with partners and directors gets promotions and benefits snatching all benefits from silent performers.

The company does allow it's employees to enhance their skills by learning as there is a mandatory 40hrs of learning to be done per year.
Promotions/Salary hikes would be very minimum because the reason says would be market is not good / entire Team(process) got less same like you.

The manager was very supportive and the work life balance was good.
The unnecessary pressure to work from office and the unsupportive rude behaviour of the HR. There was nothing given above and beyond the salary not even box of sweets on small occasions. All the team outings and activities were self sponsored.

I wish I can post something nice but unfortunately I don't like anything about it.
They don't provide any KT prior to any project. They don't provide any support from higher side. They assume that you already knows everything. They don't give you any project. You have to beg for it otherwise they will put you on a bench and then make you resign

Big name that is easy to tell others without explaining much what it is.
Mediocre people in middle management making junior staff suffer at whims and fancies. They look the team members bad in front of top management so that they can shine and hide their mediocrity. It is a foreign MNC but, in reality boasting high standards of employee friendliness but, in reality, the policies that may help the employees are not effective on the ground but generate an effect entirely opposite to what thise polocies suggest. IF you are a good "A$$-licker" your job is safe, in fact they will create positions for you with made-up names.
in 2020 EY outsourced it's IT to IBM, exactly 1 year before that, the favorites of THE Big Boss transferred themselves (Not even an internal job was posted) to safer departments. These are the one's who never worked on a single issue, project or incident. Their only talent was spooning. When companies ask why they are loosing their reputation, it's NEPOTISM AND RACISM.
