They Provide Good salary and bench period, but your bench period is subject to your salary, if you have high salary, manager will come and remove you for just 1 project interview also.
If you are asked to leave the company, they'll pay you a 2 months of termination bonus or will ask you to serve 2 month notice period while being with the organization.
Salary - Good
Dislikes
The company is pathetic, and what makes it pathetic is the people in it.
My Manager his name is RKC or CRK or who ever it is, if you can understand, he fired me by just giving one interview opportunity and because my skill review scores are low, I agree my performance was not great, what made me feel bad is, people have been on bench for more than 3 months, but I have been fired immediately, I begged the HR and the Manager for another
opportunity, There are many people in bench for more than 6 months too, but equal opportunities should be provided to anyone, I am not sure on what basis they showed bias towards me.
However, as mentioned, they'll pay you a termination bonus.
Before I came to bench, my TL , my manager are another two microscopes, yeah microscopes only, they micro manage like anything, you take 1 hour off from your work and they'll notice it, but they would not give a damn or ask about any time that was spent on production deployment, if we spend 2 hours on deployment, or extended client meetings(which sometimes take more than 2 hours of logout time too), they will not provide any shift allowance for working late.
Everything is metrics for them, I was fired from my project because I complained and questioned the onshore TL about the information not properly being provided which are leading to the delays in delivering stories, neither my TL nor my manager supported me, oh I forgot to tell you, here you'll be grilled from all sides once you are in project, a useless manager, who only knows micro managing but doesn't know anything about development, a selfish TL, who always makes sure you are on the spot and excellent on shore team, who gives a damn, they come and change requirements as if you are some slave of theirs, neither the on shore nor the off shore TL will explain more than once, both are always frustrated and on shore guy used to be aggressive on calls most of the time, yet because he is client, he will work there and I am terminated.
After that I have really gone into a different mental state, I could not focus , which is why I had no interest in the skill reviews, for a while I thought I should may be compete get good score and get a good project, but man, after I gave my laptop and walked out , I can't tell you how relieved I was.
I was relieved because, I was there whenever a team needed someone , be it early morning deployments, or late night approval calls, I always stretched when required and there were days I had to work 12-13 hours a day and no body cared, my TL did not even support me, and silently let me go, worst part is he gave me least score in that project.
I am not saying this is applicable to everyone, even in EPAM, there are some cool managers and good TL's but mine were surely the worst, and whatever I have mentioned was what the entire team was going through as well.
My opinion could be biased , I am writing this only from my point of view.
Last point: They'll say team work is important but if you take help from a junior in the team , they will appreciate the person who helped the needy, but will see the person who took help as a useless crap, and when I asked about it they said, when you take help from someone you are blocking that resource from doing their work and that answer literally made me stunned.
One more bonus for you:
The managers and TLs openly talk about the salary part when you complain them about the overwhelming work load, they will simply say we paid you more because we want you to outperform.
In any organization I worked I have never seen anybody talk about pay, here the TL and manager talked about it on numerous meetings, and I swear I did not lie about anything I mentioned above.
Oh I forgot to mention, in the starting of the project, my TL did not even know how agile works and what agile is, that ***, assigned stories to me which were of (actual)15 story points , meaning one story point is 8 hours for us, but his inability to identify complexities and split the story into smaller parts costed me big time, I always spoke to him about it, this did not happen just once, and to establish dependency, he would not even help me, he will say he will help, but he won't even answer the call, the reality of my TL for you!...Read More

While I greatly value the opportunities and challenges at EPAM Systems, occasionally, the fast-paced nature of the projects can feel demanding. However, I see this as an opportunity to improve my time management and adaptability, which has helped me grow professionally.

It is a consulting firm, which asks employees to work from client location. There is nothing from the EPAM end. If client is good product based company you might have learning curve
Dislikes
Promotion Process doesn't consider employee performance in the client project.
Hikes are less compared to market standards, for this term atleast.
Works like a consulting company rather than a Organization, EPAM manager will not know what projects we are working on because we need to work from client location, because of this our work is not valued.

-Short term projects
-Annual appraisals are not aligned with employee performance
-Once we come out from project, again we have to prepare and give interviews to get another project and client interviews are not that easy to crack
-For experienced people like 8+ there will be hell lot of expectations and we have to contribute to Epam as well Client with this we lose work life balance. So for experienced people its a challenging company where you have to be very compete and proactive to survive...Read More

They have good learning platform and industry tie-ups to get your certifications done. This is the only good thing about this organization.
Dislikes
No job security at senior levels. Zero work life balance if you are into some project. Whether you will stay in the organization will primarily depend on whether you are above 80% into billable roles with some customer or the other. There is not much choice on the kind of roles as you have to just get into something to survive. If you are in a senior position and not getting enough billability then you might be asked to leave....Read More

Client round interview will be taken after getting into the company. That is one of the bad things. Some times to get client interview will take time. They will they have hybrid model but based on client policies we need to go to office.
