It used to be a Good Company long back, however under new management its probably worst company to work for. Mandatory 10 hours work policy, zero work life balance, Poor compensation, Hire and Fire attitude, Extremely long working hours and huge work load, and Management politics are just a few to mention in my disliking. 10 hour mandatory work hours. Zero Worklife balance Poor Compensation No salary revision in mid senior level for almost last 4 years Extended work hours and too much stress Management politics and favoritism gets priority over talents poor and shady appraisal process zero job security and mandatory fire if you get released or your project ramp down practically no bench policy to optimize cost.

Job insecurities, you get only 35 calendar days to hunt new project inside Cognizant, which is really small window. Thretening for disciplinary action starts popping up after 35 day's window. This window is small, specially if you come to bench in Dec/ Jan. Moreover, your supervisors keeps on changing based on project and there is no "Standard Operating Procedure" for the supervisors to share their thoughts before sharing ratings or building opinions about the associate....Read More
