I've been working since 2016 and joined Cognizant in 2021. I've had the worst experience of my entire Professional career working here. I was in Service Desk Department of TJX Project and the managers (esp. Sourav Singh & Mainak Sarkar) would misbehave with everyone at every instance. Same goes for SMEs (Sonali Menon & Manisha Kar).These guys didn't even had to crack an interview to get the positions all thanks to the Senior Associate Deepak Kumar Singh who turns blind eye at every atrocities employees face there. I can list innumerable dislikes. 1. HR role is not in line with his or her work, and seeing such service from such an MNC, particularly in Kolkata office, truly hurt me. 2. I believe that the best way to force the company to leave on its own volition is through favoritism, which is the most advantageous attack by the poor managementof the Kolkata office. 3. You must look for projects on your own, work hard to earn your rating, and fail every time if you are not a Bengali. 4. Need to work more than 11 hrs a day. No allowance for weekend support. there's no cab facility. Less insurance amount. Very very less annual hike (1 % to 5%) There are no dine out programs and team building activities. Always work work work. Sometimes need to work on weekends too. Promotions are very tuff.
