In my current project there is some flexibility of work but when compared to other projects it is hell

There are many points 1. promotion criteria which is worst in all mnc. 2. salary hike is negligible. 3. even there is no such activities happened which makes you motivated through out the year.

Overall typical service based company, with lower appraisal %, ideal to stay for 3 years max, else growth would be stopped compared to market and you will be in comfort zone.

Appraisal cycle is worst, they do rating in Dec month and release in Jan, but appraisal will be in impact from June salary. Promotion is a problem here, and you will have to cry every year. It takes minimum 3 years once u r at one level to expect promotion.

Salary comes on time. Leaves also gets approved easily.

No work life balance. No projects in company so they silently fires. Not so good culture. Not so get promotion(1-5%hike only) or no benefits (whole year). Not that much bonus yearly.

(Cognizant) phinix "H4 building", work-life balance it's not possible it's a BPO SECTOR it's a 10 hour's work ROTATION SHIFT you only have to work no other activities happens you will get fed-up FRUSTRATED. The company management DOSE NOT CARE ABOUT THE AGENTS WHO WORK THERE. ITS ONLY POLITICS. THE MORE YOU👅THERE AS 🫏 AND ACCEPT WHAT ALL THEY SAY YOU ARE SAFE. The cognizant H4 building company dose not take you for an outing. They only have annual yearly party Organized for perticular projects. I had been worked in cognizant for almost 2.9 years. Overall it was good to work with cognizant , up and downs were there but during my bench period I learned too many technologies that help me to grow in personal and professional growth thankful that cognizant have free Udemy access however each and everyone can learn the new technologies.

There's lots of opportunities to grow and get skilled in latest technologies. Certification opportunities and widely available. Work Life balance vary from project to project.

Dislikes

Even though the fixed components are higher than many companies, it's quite less compared to many leading it giants. The yearly increment is very less and it's zero to none for freshers. Appraisal of 5 star rating is almost never given even after going above and beyond expectations. You'll be compensated with bare minimum cheer points.
