First they hire with wrong information and ones you get hired then they will let you know in which process they are dealing with. Second thing the notice period they will ask to serve 3 month of notice period.

Company is good but sometimes your management is frustrating. Biased to favourites. Skilll development used to happen when i joined but disappeared with time. ( earlier they used to proivde six sigma training but never after that). Its unfortunate that your manager never shows data on the basis of which you are rated. Just verbal words and assumption. If they want to fire you they will put work pressure on you and appoint their pawn around you who will point fingers on you and sometimes plays with your emotions as well. Even if you are working hard you or your team will be never recognized. Suddenly after you left / aur asked to volunterly resign by HR your team will become best team on the floor because it was then headed by the same pawn. Polictics is played everywhere but cognizant is the hub. SDM makes their own rules and follow them. This all happened after my management was changed....Read More

As working here is quite good when your manager is cooperative. Though In previous two years work and manager both was good no complaints for them and i worked from home till now and everyone was cool.

Now during current project my so called manager is psycho. Here in cognizant manager also do coding but he is like only I have to do everything and he just wants credit for it. Even to other squads he is like only he is doing work. He oftenly insulted me and two other team mates. I talked with my home manager but no benefit. Only you have to suffer in that scenario.

We can enjoy the company of colleagues in the beginning as a fresher.

Hike and the ratings are absolutely worse as they compare with your peers and downgrade stating as normalisation. I got downgraded twice and was told both the times as next time will take care but useless. Absolutely zero appreciation of hard work here. Max 2 years and then switch.
