It is like any other top MNC culture wise but the management is chaotic especially in the project i am working. There are too many people following up on work and too less people handling the work

What's there not to dislike. Biggest issue is that there's no HR to raise ur concerns to. All they have is a portal and that too just for show.

Overall typical service based company, with lower appraisal %, ideal to stay for 3 years max, else growth would be stopped compared to market and you will be in comfort zone.

Appraisal cycle is worst, they do rating in Dec month and release in Jan, but appraisal will be in impact from June salary. Promotion is a problem here, and you will have to cry every year. It takes minimum 3 years once u r at one level to expect promotion.

Salary comes on time. Leaves also gets approved easily.

No work life balance. No projects in company so they silently fires. Not so good culture. Not so get promotion(1-5%hike only) or no benefits (whole year). Not that much bonus yearly.

The company management DOSE NOT CARE ABOUT THE AGENTS WHO WORK THERE. ITS ONLY POLITICS. THE MORE YOU👅THERE AS 🫏 AND ACCEPT WHAT ALL THEY SAY YOU ARE SAFE. The cognizant H4 building company dose not take you for an outing. They only have annual yearly party Organized for perticular projects. I had been worked in cognizant for almost 2.9 years. Overall it was good to work with cognizant , up and downs were there but during my bench period I learned too many technologies that help me to grow in personal and professional growth thankful that cognizant have free Udemy access however each and everyone can learn the new technologies.

There's lots of opportunities to grow and get skilled in latest technologies. Certification opportunities and widely available. Work Life balance vary from project to project.

Dislikes

Even though the fixed components are higher than many companies, it's quite less compared to many leading it giants. The yearly increment is very less and it's zero to none for freshers. Appraisal of 5 star rating is almost never given even after going above and beyond expectations. You'll be compensated with bare minimum cheer points.
