CTS is good..okay to work
There is lack of support from HR depth. It only comes into picture when giving a warning, exit news, putting people on bench, any bad report ..no support for bench employees, listens to operations teams being bais. NO decision of its own as a dept. Operations sr managers use insulting languages, they invite pandoras box of questions from clients unnecessarily, asks unwanted data to be pulled, misbehaved using unethical language..lay off employees basis on their personal choice etc.. Need a strong leadership not just managers..no growth opportunities, managers stop talking to employees whom they do not like. No exposure to enhancing skills, align unnecessary courses which is heavy time consuming. Targets are to accomplish managers own goals to get salary hikes and promotions..unnecessary decks to bevoreoared knowing the client dies not talk but the deck ..at all.....Read More
Dead long working hrs ..no support on personal issues at times, managers go on long leaves but subordinates are questioned a lot if ask leaves.long .vacation leaves are taken by managers..not below that..work life us poor..

Nothing, you can just work until you don't get job anywhere.
When tire 4 and 5 companies gives good hike, meanwhile this company is soo kanjoos to give hike. Also every year they use to change the months of the hike. One year it will be April another year it will be August without arrear. Please don't go to this company.

Opportunity to learn - since people are leaving everyday !
Most of the senior mgmt in cognizant are old , stubborn, egoistic and obnoxious people . They refused to work in teams, they refused to work at par with young associates and they have a very capitalistic mentality - they won't read mails and ask for updated on weekends ! The tools used in CTS are outdated and buggy making the work very very slow

-Its a big organization and there are bureaucracy. But still the process are smooth (Yes, there are delays here & there which is expected) - You have the flexibility to work from any cognizant location you desire (Depends upon some project too) - I personally didn't have any problems availing leaves, which is one of the few things I really appreciate.
- Favoritism ( u will get every opportunity if u are an a** licker) - No scope for growth (If you ambitious, even a little bit do not join this organization. The promotion & salary hikes are horrible) - Leadership team is pathetic. If push comes to shove, they will throw you under the bus and will not hesitate. As working here is quite good when your manager is cooperative. Though In previous two years work and manager both was good no complaints for them and i worked from home till now and everyone was cool.
Now during current project my so called manager is psycho. Here in cognizant manager also do coding but he is like only I have to do everything and he just wants credit for it. Even to other squads he is like only he is doing work. He oftenly insulted me and two other team mates. I talked with my home manager but no benefit. Only you have to suffer in that scenario.
