The most I disliked is the annual hikes which is just peanuts. They have given 3-5% hikes to all the employees ( 5% was the maximum hike given to the top performers, rest all got 3-4%. Management forced us to work on weekends from office which could have been easily managed from home as no one comes on weekends and feels like I am in graveyard, and the entire bay remains empty.

It may vary project to project and management to management. My previous project experience is very bad due to the management only. My current project , client and management is quite good.

Here HR’s don’t even listen to our problems. When we need help from HR’s they don’t even respond to our messages or mail but when they need something from us they directly call us. Here, TMP team will say you will get project but when our bench time ends they force us to take up service desk projects by lying you can change projectafter 6 months. All fine but this is depending on the client you are working for... I worked for 2 projects till now where the 1st one was overall good but the next one is disaster. .
The bench process and project allocation process is not good.. They auto allocate projects which is is. Not related to your domain, sometimes they lie in talent marketplace in designation . Big issue is 10hrs working a day

Nothing much, it's average service type company with decent salary. But leaves are good. 30 leaves per year in a service company is really commendable.
1. They hire based on prospective projects, and often the projects don't land. And then they have very limited time on bench, hence job security is an issue. 2. Work from office schedule is very strict, there should be some flexibility. 3. No proper employee benefits such as outings or lunches or parties, all they care about is billing. 4. Little too much of micro-management

People from a certain region have monopolised the system. The HRs assigned to projects are usually freshers and do not take any action against managers even if they constantly breach or misuse their powers by providing promotion to their favorites and intimidating others into working overtime without any salary benefits.

As a whole cognizant is excellent. They provide excellent skill development.
At Hyderabad location a manager called sankalp is very rude and very miss behaved person and a manager called simran they both handle google projects since they both are friends. They have favouritism in them very worst managers because of them many employees drop. And cognizant is loosing its name.

Healthcare process -:Management is racist, womaniser. Regional language (marathi) is not allowed on floor. Wherein management will speak Bhojpuri, Bengali, Malyali languages which is not regional according to them. Even if company is in Pune Maharashtra they strictly inform not to speak in marathi as management is not Maharashtrian.If they hate marathi language why are they living in Maharashtra , they should go to their native State. Even if medical documents are submitted they will apply NCNS. People who are issued warning letter for abusing on floor, fighting on floor are given promotion as they are favourite,lickiers 😛🍑chatus. Management has created there own family on floor which includes bhai, behne, bhabhi, devar, jeth, jethani, nand, soutan and Big Daddy. Management needs full gossip of every employe. Management watches reels and do videos call on floor and says mobile is not allowed to employees. Favouritism is the policy followed by management. As working here is quite good when your manager is cooperative. Though In previous two years work and manager both was good no complaints for them and i worked from home till now and everyone was cool.
Now during current project my so called manager is psycho. Here in cognizant manager also do coding but he is like only I have to do everything and he just wants credit for it. Even to other squads he is like only he is doing work. He oftenly insulted me and two other team mates. I talked with my home manager but no benefit. Only you have to suffer in that scenario.
