I have joined as a fresher, so can review upon my so far experience with CGI. Overall a good MNC, but development projects for fresher is very minimal and depends upon luck; more support project projects and less opportunity and difficult if someone wants to make a switch for roles as I felt. Personal leaves policy provided by the company is far better than other Indian MNCs and also few projects have WFH flexibility. Growth prospects vary from project to project and Work Life balance too depends upon which project you are in. Support projects are worst in terms of Work Life balance but one thing for sure, this is a company one can look forward to when he feels he can't switch anymore and he has to stagnant in terms of job switch. For me, a better co. for experienced public and can think of retirement being in this company ( Job security is there) but not a great company to start with for a Fresher as growing and learning opportunity across projects is very very less. Support project with Linux/some part of Java/SQL. So so to start with but learning opportunity only with shell scripting. Want to move from Support role into Development or Automation Testing.

I liked the work culture that CGI offers to its employees. WFH whenever required, job security and no micromanagement. You will feel comfortable working here. Over all it is a good company and very good for ladies especially.

I am part of Unix Project. Management is Absolutely good. Work life balance is good. Job security is the best part of the company.

Travel as its located in Electronic city. However, lot of flexibility with WFH if you can demonstarte the skills and gain the confidence. Skill is given lot of importance unlike other companies
