Work life balance is good. Company culture is very good. Job security is normally good although in some teams especially when market is bad, Capgemini has strict bench policy.

Dislikes

Appraisals are very poor. Like 5% average for top performers. Some BUs offer 8% (for top performers). Promotion hike is also less. Sometimes people get dry promotion. Otherwise company is good.

Too much politics ...RMG, Hr and junior managers don't know how to talk with new joiners or with employees. Hr's and manager are too confused about job role and salary/ location discussion. At first they agree on everything but once you joined they company they deny on everything that has been discussed earlier even if it's on mail ..and put you on bench and after 6 months asked you to leave due to bench period over or you are not able to be billable. Also your probation with not be confirmed and having said that they will kick you out of the company. Even if you complain to HR about the issues. So if you want to stay in this company don't stand for your rights and just stay as per them because manager and HR ...they can change policy anytime as per their convenience and ask to to obey otherwise there will be termination which leads to no job security in this company....Read More

Extreme micromanagement and use of softwares for tracking activity. Compulsion of working 12 days in office per month, not even 1 day less. Tracking the number of hours spent in office.

HR policies too worsts, I have cleared the technical rounds and not released offer letter. HR reply is previous company which worked 10 yrs back not functions now its in default list. How come employee responsible if any companies closed. If Capgemini also not functioning after some period of time, want to blame employees? I have all the documents and worked genuinely for all companies and requested to HR to check that period of time companies functioning or not. HR disconnected the call and no response for calls or messages. HR unprofessional behavior disappointed . My humble request all, Pls don't join Capgemini they not following any standard policies. The current project I work is definitely something no one would want to work for. Mental stress with no benefits at all.

I have one advise for Capgemini. if there is no project requirement why you are hired the people . And the trained people simply sitting on bench there is no update from project interview and didn't receive a single call from project interview,, again hired the people the bench people throughout due to layoff,,there is no future in this company,,,, I have worst experience 😭 my future totally gone......Read More

Dislikes

Popular paid certifications are not free for Capgemini. There is a process so that half amount will be paid by company but there's lots of terms and conditions, and even the payment is not done on time. Barely any salary hike after 2.5 years
